phosfiltrum™ is a specially formulated, high-density, granular ferric oxide (GFO). It will rapidly remove phosphates and silicates from both freshwater and saltwater and will not release them back into your aquarium. It is much harder and consequently much less fragile than other GFOs, so it will not break apart into fine particles in your tank. It has the highest binding capacity of any phosphate remover on the market, so it will last much longer before it needs to be replaced. Its distinctive dark brown color identifies it as the premier product in the industry.

Unique algae control by bacteria
Nutrient utilizing bacteria in a stable permanent form begin to work and multiply within shortest time upon contact with water.
They remove algae nutrients - in particular phosphate - from the water and are therefore effective against undesired algae in the aquarium by using the nutrient competition principle. Algae growth is inhibited and the algae population is lastingly reduced. Algae blooms are prevented in case of prophylactic use.

Description
HyperSorb™ is a synthetic adsorbent that outperforms all other blended synthetic media and carbons. It has exceptional organic removal capacity: it removes organic waste, toxic vapors and other pollutants. In freshwater it will help stabilize the ionic balance and will help control ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate. It is easily regenerated with household bleach. For use in both freshwater and marine.Directions
Use in a filter bag such as The Bag. Each 250 mL treats up to 300 L (75 US gallons). Rinse before use. Exhaustion is indicated by a pronounced discoloration of the beads from yellow to deep brown. REGENERATION: Soak in a 1:1 bleach:water solution for 24 hours in a non-metallic container in a well ventilated area and away from children. Use regular 8.25% hypochlorite household bleach (non-scented, no dyes, do not use a splash-less bleach). Rinse well, then soak for 8 hours with a solution containing 4 tablespoons of Prime®, or equivalent dechlorinator per cup of water. Rinse well. For freshwater use, soak for 4 hours with a solution containing 2 tablespoons of buffer per cup of water (Discus Buffer®, Neutral Regulator®). Original color and full activity should now be restored and HyperSorb™ is ready for reuse. Caution: some slime coat products may permanently foul HyperSorb™ and render regeneration difficult. Do not reuse if odor of bleach/chlorine is detectable. In case of doubt, soak beads in small quantity of water and test for residual chlorine with a chlorine test kit.

Advantages
Seachem Zeolite is a naturally occurring, highly-porous mineral that binds ammonia and heavy metals through an ion exchange mechanism. Seachem Zeolite has the highest ammonia binding capacity of any available zeolite; ten times higher than some products and twice the capacity of the closest competitor. Seachem Zeolite won't deplete calcium in saltwater, and it won't increase general hardness in freshwater, where the ionic strength is low.Directions
For best results, Seachem Zeolite should be rinsed before use and placed so as to maximise the flow of water through it but not so that it tumbles against itself in flow. It may be used in a canister filter, media chamber, box filter, or any high flow area of a trickle filter. Use of a filter bag such as Seachem's The Bag or Zip Bag is recommended. Use 250 mL (1 cup) of Seachem Zeolite for every 200 L (50 US gallons). For smaller aquariums, the equivalent dose is 5 mL (1 level teaspoon) per 4 L (1 US gallon). This amount of Seachem Zeolite will remove up to 0.5 mg/L ammonia. Monitor ammonia levels, which should drop to zero within 24-48 hours. At this point, the zeolite can be removed or replaced with activated carbon, such as Seachem MatrixCarbon. For heavy metals removal, leave in service and replace monthly. For long term ammonia control, use Seachem Stability and Matrix. Use Ammonia Alert or MultiTest Free & Total Ammonia to directly monitor levels of free ammonia.

Maximum optimization of biological filtration
The original sera siporax Professional is suitable for use in both freshwater and marine aquariums as well as in ponds. Not depending on the kind of filter (internal/external/trickle filter), it maximizes the surface required for biological purification and provides the optimal substrate for the settling of necessary filter bacteria. The sera filter biostart included with the kit contains purification bacteria which activate sera siporax Professional biologically immediately upon addition and start pollutant breakdown in the water.
Filter and breakdown processes in the bottom ground of natural waters are very important. Organic waste are processed by micro-organisms and are thus available for the natural cycle as a nutrient for aquatic plants – pollutants such as ammonium, nitrite and nitrate are removed. Since little waste per water amount is formed in nature, the present bottom surface is sufficient for housing a sufficient number of micro-organisms.
However, an aquarium accommodates a small biotope in little space. It is therefore necessary to maximally enlarge the settling area for ensuring complete and safe breakdown of organic remainders.
