This hang-on filter combines the advantages of internal and canister filters, which means it is easy to install, universally useful and has a high performance. Hang-on filters are perfect for small and big aquaria.
The AQUAEL VERSAMAX FZN-1 has been designed for filtering the water in aquaria with a volume of 20 to 100 l. At the same time it aerates the water efficiently, increases the oxygen content and moves the water surface gently, which efficiently prevents a residual film from forming. The external adjustment makes it unnecessary to reach in the water with your hands. It is stepless and you can easily adjust the output of the filter to the volume of your tank.
AQUAEL VERSAMAX FZN-1 filters come equipped with an interchangeable piece of filter foam. This insert can be exchanged for all kinds of filter media to adapt the filtration to the needs of your aquarium.

sera filter wool for the mechanical prefiltration consists of stable fibers that retain finer dirt particles for a longer time without sticking or collapsing. sera filter wool can be washed out several times. Suitable for all filters.
We recommended sera siporax Professional for the biological filtration. sera siporax Professional is open pored and three dimensional - for lasting pollutant breakdown.
sera filter media must be rinsed under warm water before using it for the first time.
Tip:
When used in combination with sera phosvec･clear and sera pond crystal, sera filter wool makes it easier to remove the bound substances.
